Fata LA Tour is a multifaceted mixed-reality mobile application
experience that pulls data from the screen onto the street. When a participant walks into a public space where someone was shot, either in a movie or real life, the phone GPS sends signal to a tour vest which delivers a blood-like stain onto the person’s shirt.

For nearly 10 years I produced stories for broadcast on local television. My roll expanded as I moved from photojournalist to reporter. My stories were broadcast locally and picked up through syndication on CNN, FOX, ABC, and CBS.

Vuzix company gave Eric Paren and I some AR glasses to develop applications that explore the possibilities of Augmented reality. By overlaying imagery, mapping data to the video and audio users we are offering mediated experiences of the world in real space.

"From a star filled sky, random items and shapes fall down to the Earth below. Collect items to create your own junk masterpiece. These items from heaven come together in a pile that you throw together by… well… tossing items together. Objects converse in symphony of sound and colors that you can build to the sky. There’s no winning or losing – just you and your art. Further ideas include tracking where you build each of your masterpieces and leaving them in the real world. Others than can stumble over your art and can even add to your work with their own ideas."

Grüne Zone
2011 A public instillation in the heart of Vienna. Pedestrians entered a camera saturated play environment consisting of a green walkway at the entrance of the Weiner Prater. Stray pedestrians are captured and combine with interviews to form assemblage documentary.

2011 “Sculpture in Motion” is a cybernetic interactive installation that exhibited at the J. Paul Getty Museum. The work was inspired by artist Pier Gabriele Vangelli’s bust of oil tycoon, philanthropist, and art collector, J. Paul Getty. The actual marble bust is illuminated by a single video projector, connected to a computer and a camera sensor. Computer-generated imagery (CGI) and software create a lifelike digital reproduction of Mr. Getty himself, who speaks to visitors through one of few recorded interviews, even following viewers with its eyes. in collaboration with Ben Mandaberg.

2010 Winter. I began the first part of a series of explorations into data about Los Angeles. For some time I have followed the Los Angeles Times Homicide Project. By the end of 2010 the more than 583 people were killed from a gunshots. <img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/102713/1428315/shirtCroppedAlpha.png" border="0" width="424" height="461" width_o="424" height_o="461" src_o="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/102713/1428315/shirtCroppedAlpha_o.png" align="left" /> I created an instillation that moved the information of the computer screen to bring residents closer to killings. A cap gun was positioned 6 feet from a t-shirt in the Graduate Gallery at UCLA.
The city name, Los Angeles, and the year were projected on the shirt. When the user fired on the shirt the date of the shooting as well as the name and age were projected next to a blood stain.
